Surf dog Ricochet is a certified goal directed therapy dog with Pawsitive Teams. Speech language pathologist, Renee works with a student who has a verbal disability. She had the idea of the student working with a therapy dog using an iPad® and the TouchChat app. Ricochet's handler wanted to see if Ricochet could take commands directly from the iPad® using the TouchChat App. The answer is yes! This has created the ability for people with verbal disorders to independently work with a therapy or service dog.
