TouchChat Trainer Certification for Individuals

Why:
To equip AAC professionals with an in-depth knowledge of the TouchChat App and to meet the needs of our app customers by providing a list of TouchChat Certified Trainers that they may reach out to for services.

Who:
Licensed and degreed professionals from related professions (e.g. SLP, AAC or Assistive Technology, etc.) who are experienced with TouchChat, but want to learn more in order to hold TouchChat trainings in their community to meet the needs of interested parties. The program is only open to US and Canadian residents.

Requirements:

• Must have a passion for AAC and a desire to help others become successful users
• Candidate must own TouchChat app & WordPower vocabulary
• Prior teaching/training experience preferred
• Must reside in the US or Canada

Fee:
There is a course fee of $400 to enroll and participate in the training certification program. Payment will not be collected until your application has been approved.

Note: No refunds will be offered.

• Access to live update webinars which will cover new TouchChat features
• A sample training outline to follow during your own trainings

Process:
If you feel you meet the criteria and are interested in moving forward, please follow the steps below.

1. Create a PRC-Saltillo account and log in to AAC Learning Journey to activate the account.
2. Apply below. PRC-Saltillo will review the application and once accepted, the payment will be processed.
3. Once payment is received, the applicant will be enrolled in the TouchChat Certified Trainer course on AAC Learning Journey and receive an email notification.
4. Applicant will complete the course and when finished, contact us to set up the final session (a live call with our TIPS team to “train our trainer”).
5. After the final session, PRC-Saltillo will email the participant final documentation and information will be posted to the website/social media.

While PRC-Saltillo has tried to provide you with as much support as we can, please note that you will be solely responsible for determining the location of your trainings, your fee structure, and how to get participants to attend (how/where to market your trainings, etc.).
