Big Features

AI Features: We are very excited to offer features that will use AI to support our customer's communication in different ways. All the features will run on the device without Wi-Fi. We will have three features in this release:

AI Message Edit: Corrects grammar and spelling errors
AI Translate: Translates the SDB into any language supported by an Apple voice
AI Image Generation: Creates a new image based on your prompt(s)
Note: AI features are only available on iOS devices running OS 26 and are Apple Intelligence compatible. Learn more here.

Dialect support: Provides the user with more region-specific vocabulary options (e.g, English, United Kingdom) during the onboarding menu and in the library menu. The files that will have region-specific options are:

LAMP WFL Full (English US, UK, AU, CA)
WordPower 60 Basic (English US, UK, AU, CA)

Code Switching: Allows the user to speak in multiple languages and the speech display bar (SDB) will speak both languages properly. We expect a slight pause between languages.

Third party scanning compatibility: Allows switches outside of the AeroSwitch and Via switch ports to use our in-app scanning. This will be helpful for schools or facilities that use iOS devices for emerging scanners and want to use their current equipment (e.g., Blue2) with our simplified in-app scanning.
