Setting Up An External Keyboard

Some people may prefer to use an external keyboard with TouchChat. In order to do this, TouchChat needs to give a command to replace the TouchChat keyboard with a System Keyboard. The command to use the System Keyboard needs to be stored to a TouchChat button for turning On and Off.

Note: If an external keyboard is not attached when the button is pressed, the iOS keyboard will appear on the screen.

Go to the page where the button will be created
Tap Menu- Edit Page
Tap the button where the system keyboard button will be located and choose Create New Button
Add a Button Label and icon, if needed
Modify any button style, if needed
Under the Button Actions section, choose Add
Select System Keyboard
Choose Save and Done
