The communication board generally comprises 15 symbols on a page. Most of the cells say a single message, with the goal of combining the words to form a structured sentence. Some cells say utterances or short and structured combinations. There are many cells where variable information by topic can be added and cells in which long messages can be recorded, such as experiences from home or school. Tables are linked accordingly, providing a large vocabulary and the ability to conjugate a wide range of common verbs by tense, number, and gender. For younger children, beginners or others, there are pages of visual scenes containing a picture of the scene accompanied by an appropriate basic vocabulary. A personal vocabulary and pages can be added to each page.

The board contains a diverse vocabulary and makes use of basic conjugations based on masculine, feminine, singular and plural in simple discourse, and simple conjugations of emotions and basic descriptions. In addition, there is an option of selecting the use of conjugations of basic verbs, according to gender, number and tense.
