Bug Update: Custom Images Missing

We have identified a bug in the 2.50 software where custom images go missing. We appreciate your calls and emails to our support team to help us determine the issue and find a fix. This issue will be corrected in software update 2.51 the week of November 11.

We determined that the issue causing custom images to disappear was related to having custom images in multiple places, either within the same vocabulary or across multiple vocabularies. This may explain why the issue appeared inconsistent.

Normally, a custom image is completely deleted from the device only when it's not in use anywhere else on the software. Unfortunately, this bug caused custom images to be completely deleted from the software after the first deletion attempt. Software update 2.51 will prevent this issue from happening again.

The 2.51 update will not restore custom images to the files where they have gone missing; they have been permanently deleted. However, we have determined a way to restore your images.

How to Restore Your Custom Images Today:

Import a vocabulary file that has custom images showing to the device where the images are currently missing

Do not delete any of the files or images from the device until you have updated your software to 2.51

Update your software to 2.51. Files or buttons sharing images can now be deleted without removing the image completely from the software
