Choosing A Different Keyboard

There are times that the current keyboard option might not be most appropriate for the device user.

Some of TouchChat’s Original files have multiple keyboard options available within the listing of pages. To see other page options within your file:

1. Choose Menu- Edit Page- Menu- Load Another Page.
2. Here you can see an entire listing of page options available within your vocabulary file. It may contain a more appropriate option. If so, change the link on your ABC/keyboard button Action to Navigate to the alternate keyboard.

There are also varying keyboards in other vocabulary files that you may prefer.  To import a page from a different vocabulary file (have your file open):

1. Choose Menu- Edit Page- Menu- Import Pages, choose the vocabulary file that contains the page you want and choose the appropriate page to import and choose Import.  This has put a copy of that page into your file.
2. Now edit your ABC/keyboard button to Navigate to the new page.
